VC2290 was started by Aaron G. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 290. The Crew is chartered out of St.Roberts Church, which is the same Charter Organization for Troop 290. Troop 290 is a 25 year troop, with exicistance since the early 1950's. Troop 290 is a large active Troop that has meeting once a week, and campouts at least once a month. Ron Gach is the current Scoutmaster. The Troop is a Quality unit, and is very active in the community and the council. It is no wonder that this troop spawned a venturing crew. It is the wish of the troop and the crew that the two continue in the future to work together. The venturers remain active in the Troop to lead the younger boys with the training they have gained from venturing. The current Senior Patrol Leader is Adam G. He is and Eagle scout and is also currently serving as a vice president in the crew.   The Crew wishes to continue to work and grow with Troop 290.
